American Journal of Health Policy and Management is an open access, peer-reviewed journal which serves as an international and interdisciplinary setting for the dissemination of health policy and management research. It aims to maintain a balance between theory and practice, from a variety of disciplines, fields and perspectives. It is intended to enhance communication between health system researchers, policy and decision makers, legislators, professionals, and practitioners in relation to developing, implementing, and analyzing health policies. And it caters to the needs of health policy-makers, health managers, reflective practitioners and action-oriented researchers. The journal publishes high quality editorials, perspectives, review papers, original research papers (both empirical and theoretical), etc. All submissions to the journal undergo a fair, supportive and completely blind peer-review process.
