In this paper, a method of calculation of the unit nuclear radius r0 in agreement with the Constant Density Model R = r0 A1/3 is made in the framework of classical electrodynamics. The first theoretical expression of r0 is established. Henceforth, one may calculate theoretically, quantities in nuclear physics whose estimates are based on the value of R on the limitations of classical and semi classical approaches to quantum mechanics. For this purpose, theoretical calculations of nuclei radius, nuclear potential barrier height, maximum energy of + spectrum of mirrors nucleus for which A = 2Z–1 and study of the nuclear volume effect on the hydrogen –like ions energy levels are made. Good agreements are obtained with various experiments.
