Abstract
 

The article shows the relationships and dependencies of security studies and polemology. This science, due to the research area, play an important role in identifying trends related to the wars of the past and the present. According to polemology, by taking into account certain elements of the security studies, it is possible to forecast the causes and conditions of future wars and armed conflicts.
